In the recent flurry of news activity regarding a donation from the Dirigo PAC to my campaign, I estimate that Senator Collins along with donations from both the Maine House Republican Fund and the One Maine PAC were sent to aid my effort to unseat my opponent, Mr. John Martin.
I feel quite humbled that the Republican leadership has its confidence in me, my beliefs and values, and are willing to support my candidacy with their generous donation.
The concern expressed about my “disturbing political views” seem to be a matter of opinion by writers Bernard and Busby. My views are clear: God, country, and family.
Let’s set the record straight. I am a veteran with over 29 years of military service. I swore an oath to defend the Constitution of this country, against all enemies, foreign and domestic. As of this press release, no one has relieved me of this duty.
If you happen to be one of those people that think ursuping our God given unalienable rights provided in our US constitution is ok, then you are part of the problem in our country.
I remain a steadfast patriot and love my country. Until relieved by my maker, I will fight to protect this great nation under God to preserve our land, its great citizens and our way of life. Those who would look to change that into something worse under the banner of socialism should know that I’m not the only patriot watching, studying, and ready to defend what we committed ourselves to when we took the Oath. So help me God means exactly that.
