The County has access to the largest natural resource in the state, our forest products industry, and the state still lags behind the world in smartly using and bringing this industry into the 21st Century as well as exploring its usage for energy and soils management.

As I am traveling around the district, people are asking about COVID19 and the school re-opening plans being discussed by school boards and staffs. Here are some useful facts and information I’ve been able to find for use by parents, school boards and staff to aid in decision making centered on re-opening schools and the mandates coming from Augusta with businesses.
